While the 2023 debut of Jamal Adams will wait another week, the Seahawks will have starting safeties Quandre Diggs and Julian Love for their Week 3 game against the Carolina Panthers.

Both players were listed as questionable heading into the weekend due to hamstring injuries, but after going through pregame workouts, they were deemed ready to play. Also active, as expected, is receiver DK Metcalf, who was questionable with a rib injury.

In all, five of the seven players the Seahawks listed as questionable are active—Metcalf, Diggs, Love, Jarran Reed and DeeJay Dallas—while two are inactive, Adams and left right guard Phil Haynes. Anthony Bradford is expected to start in place of Haynes, the first start for the rookie out of LSU.

Also inactive today for Seattle are left tackle Charles Cross and cornerback/safety Coby Bryant, both of whom were ruled out, and tight end Will Dissly and cornerback Riq Woolen, who were listed as doubtful. With Dissly out, Brady Russell is active after being signed off the Eagles' practice squad earlier this week.

Carolina will be without starting quarterback Bryce Young, who is inactive due to an ankle injury. Andy Dalton will start in his place.

Here are the inactives for both teams:

Seattle Seahawks

  • CB Coby Bryant
  • CB Riq Woolen
  • S Jamal Adams
  • G Phil Haynes
  • T McClendon Curtis
  • T Charles Cross
  • TE Will Dissly

Carolina Panthers

The Super Bowl XLVIII team was back in town for the 10-year anniversary and caught up with old teammates at dinner events throughout the weekend.
