Despite not practicing this week due to a foot injury, defensive end Carlos Dunlap II is active for the Seahawks' Week 13 game against the Giants after being listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.
That's very good news for Seattle's defense, which has seen a big surge in pass-rush production of late in no small part due to the addition of Dunlap, who has 4.0 sacks in as many games since arriving in a midseason trade with the Bengals.
Also listed as questionable and active are right guard Damien Lewis, running back Carlos Hyde and center/guard Kyle Fuller.
The Seahawks will be without their top two right tackles, as starter Brandon Shell and backup Cedric Ogbuehi are both inactive. Shell will miss a second straight game with an ankle injury, while Ogbuehi, who started in place of Shell last week, was a late addition to the injury report with a calf injury that occurred on Friday.
One option at right tackle is Chad Wheeler, who was elevated off of the practice squad on Saturday, while another would be Jamarco Jones, though most of his work this season has come at guard.
The Seahawks will also be without starting right cornerback Tre Flowers, who was placed on injured reserve on Saturday. D.J. Reed is expected to start in his place, adding to a versatile resume that already includes starts at left cornerback and nickel corner, as well as handling kickoff and punt return duties.
As expected, Giants starting quarterback Daniel Jones is inactive due to a hamstring injury after being listed as doubtful on Friday. Colt McCoy will get the start in place of Jones.
