The Seahawks will be without leading receiver DK Metcalf for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Metcalf, who has played through a rib injury since Week 2, injured his hip in last week's game in Cincinnati, and while he was able to finish that game, the injury had him listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, and it will keep him out of Sunday's contest.
This will be the first game Metcalf has missed in his five seasons in the NFL.
Also inactive are two starting offensive linemen, guard Phil Haynes and center Evan Brown. Tackle Jake Curhan, who was also listed as questionable, is active.
With Brown out, rookie Olu Oluwatimi is likely to make his first career start, though he did see significant playing time in a Week 4 win over the Giants when Brown moved to guard due to injuries at that position.
Rookie Anthony Bradford has multiple starts under his belt and could fill in again for Haynes now that left guard Damien Lewis is back from an injury of his own.
Brown being out means the Seahawks will be starting their fifth offensive line combination in six games.
Also inactive after being listed as questionable is rookie running back Zach Charbonnet. With Charbonnet out, DeeJay Dallas is likely to take on a bigger role in the offense. Should the Seahawks want to limit Dallas' return duties as he plays more on offense, they could use receiver Easop Winston Jr. on return duty, as the former WSU standout was elevated off the practice squad Saturday. Winston also gives Seattle extra receiver depth with Metcalf sidelined.
For the Cardinals, All-Pro safety Budda Baker, a Bellevue High grad and All-American at the University of Washington, will be making his return from injured reserve after missing five games with hamstring injury.
