The Seahawks wrapped up their final practice of the week Wednesday, just three days after returning home from their Week 4 game at Arizona. While two players, left tackle Duane Brown and guard/center Ethan Pocic, were listed as questionable, everyone was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, just part of why head coach Pete Carroll liked what he saw out of his team in a short week of preparation.
"This is an accelerated week, but now that it gets to this day, it feels like we've put together a full week in just a couple of days," Carroll said. "So, we feel comfortable with the prep, we're looking forward to it, we're feeling pretty good health-wise. We're really excited about the opportunity to play on Thursday night, play a team in the division, a Rams team that has been so good. They're going to challenge us in every way, but we need this kind of challenge, so we're looking forward to it."
Despite being listed as questionable, Brown has a good chance to play, Carroll said: "He's doing fine. He practiced today, should be fine. He's still questionable, but he should be OK."
On Pocic, who has missed the past two games with a mid-back injury, Carroll said, "He practiced some today. This is the best day that he has had."
Not listed on the final injury report is running back Rashaad Penny, who has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury.
"He's ready to go," Carroll said.
Cornerback Neiko Thorpe, one of Seattle's top special team players who has missed the past three games with a hamstring injury, is not on the final injury report, indicating he too should be ready to go.
