The Seahawks will have quarterback Geno Smith available when they face the Eagles on Monday night.
Smith, who missed last week's game with a groin injury, was listed as questionable on Saturday's injury report, but after showing enough in a pregame workout, he is active for a crucial Week 15 game.
While Smith is active, general manager John Schneider said on the pregame show on Seattle Sports 710AM that it was not certain who would start with an hour remaining until kickoff.Â
While Smith is active, the Seahawks will be missing a couple of key players in their secondary, as cornerback Devon Witherspoon (hip) and safety Jamal Adams (knee) are both inactive after being listed as questionable.
Also inactive after being listed as questionable is receiver Dee Eskridge, who will miss a third straight game with a rib injury. Linebacker and special teams captain Nick Bellore is active after being listed as questionable with a knee injury.Â
Even with Smith active, quarterback Sean Mannion is active after being elevated from the practice squad earlier in the day, giving the Seahawks a third quarterback for the game. Also active after being elevated from the practice squad is rookie safety Ty Okada, who gives the Seahawks added secondary depth with Adams and Witherspoon out. Outside linebacker Frank Clark is active after being inactive last week.
For the Eagles, starting quarterback Jalen Hurts is active after being added to the injury report as questionable on Sunday due to illness. Starting cornerback Darius Slay is inactive due to a knee injury. Former Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny is inactive for the Eagles.
Here are the inactives for both teams:
