The Seahawks will have starting quarterback Geno Smith for Thursday night's NFC West showdown with the 49ers.
Smith, who left Sunday's game in Los Angeles with a triceps contusion, then later returned to the game late in the fourth quarter, is active for Thursday night's game despite being limited in practice this week.
The Seahawks will not, however, have leading rusher Kenneth Walker III, who left Sunday's game with an oblique injury.
With Walker out, rookie Kenny McIntosh is active for the first time and will make his Seahawks debut after returning from injured reserve earlier this month, helping carry the load at running back along with Zach Charbonnet and DeeJay Dallas.
"He's really versatile," Carroll said of McIntosh. "He's more of a scat back type of guy, quickness and explosion, real bursty, catches the ball really well. You think that he's going to break it when he gets the ball in his hands. That's what you feel like with him."
Back this week after missing last week's game is safety Jamal Adams. Also active are defensive back Coby Bryant, who was activated off injured reserve on Thursday, and quarterback Brett Rypien, who was elevated off the practice squad.
In a change on the defensive line from recent games, Myles Adams is active while rookie Cameron Young is inactive. Inactive for the first time since signing with the team last month is outside linebacker Frank Clark Sr.
For the 49ers, starting right guard Spencer Burford is inactive after being listed as questionable with a knee injury.
Here are the inactives for both teams:
