The Seahawks will be without usual starting left guard Damien Lewis for their season opener against Denver, as well as rookie running back Kenneth Walker III.

Both players, listed as questionable on Saturday's injury report, are inactive or Monday night's game, Lewis due to an ankle injury suffered in Seattle's second preseason game, and Walker due to a hernia procedure. Lewis' absence should mean a start for Phil Haynes, who played well starting games at both guard spots last season.

As expected, long snapper Tyler Ott is inactive after being ruled out with a shoulder injury. The Seahawks elevated the newly-signed Carson Tinker from the practice squad to take over long snapping duties. Also inactive is cornerback Artie Burns, who was listed as doubtful, and defensive tackle Myles Adams and cornerback Isaiah Dunn, who are both healthy scratches.

The Seahawks will also be without outside linebacker Alton Robinson, who was placed on injured reserve earlier in the day.

The Broncos, meanwhile, will be without a pair of starters due to injury, right tackle Billy Turner and inside linebacker Josey Jewell.

Here are the inactive lists for both teams:

Seattle Seahawks

  • RB Kenneth Walker III
  • CB Artie Burns
  • CB Isaiah Dunn
  • G Damien Lewis
  • LS Tyler Ott
  • DT Myles Adams

Denver Broncos

  • WR Jalen Virgil
  • S Delarrin Turner-Yell
  • ILB Josey Jewell
  • OL Billy Turner
  • DL Eyioma Uwazurike

The Seahawks arrive to Lumen Field for week 1 of the 2022 regular season against the Broncos. Game day arrival photos are proudly sponsored by Gillette.
