Rashaad Penny Inactive For Seahawks; Jared Goff Active For Rams

The Seahawks are mostly healthy for their Wild Card game against the Rams, but will be without running back Rashaad Penny.

Rashaad Penny was a late addition to the Seahawks injury report this week, being listed as questionable on Friday with a knee injury, and the running back will not be available for Saturday's Wild Card game against the Los Angles Rams.

For the Rams, the big injury question mark all week was the status of quarterback Jared Goff, who had surgery less than two weeks ago, and he is active. Goff being active doesn't guarantee he'll start over John Wolford, who started last week in Goff's place, but he is at least available to play.

With Penny out and DeeJay Dallas also inactive, the Seahawks will have Alex Collins as their third back behind Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde. Collins, who scored a touchdown late in last week's win over the 49ers, was again elevated off the practice squad for the game. Also elevated from the practice squad and active Saturday is rookie defensive tackle Cedrick Lattimore, who will be making his Seahawks debut.

The Seahawks had two potential injury concerns on defense early in the week with Jamal Adams (shoulder) and Jarran Reed (oblique) leaving last week's game with injuries, but by the end of the week, Adams was off the injury report, meaning he was good to go. Reed was able to practice both Wednesday and Thursday, and while he was listed as questionable, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said the defensive tackle would be ready to go. Both are indeed active.

Also active as expected is cornerback Shaquill Griffin, who was listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.
