Seahawks cornerback Tre Brown's rookie campaign was unfortunately cut short by a patellar tendon injury suffered in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, and on Tuesday Brown underwent successful surgery, performed by head team physician Dr. Ed Khalfayan.

"Tre Brown underwent successful surgery to repair his patellar tendon and medial and lateral retinacular tears this morning," Dr. Khalfayan said in a statement. "He will remain on crutches for six weeks and his rehabilitation period will be six to seven months. I expect him to make a full recovery."
