The Seahawks saw two starters return to practice on Thursday at Renton's Virginia Mason Athletic Center, where center Justin Britt (knee) and No. 1 wide receiver Tyler Lockett (back) were full and limited participants, respectively, as Seattle continued preparation for Sunday's road matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Also an encouraging sign for this weekend's matchup is that five Seahawks players who were limited by injuries during Wednesday's practice were upgraded to full participants on Thursday. That list included guard Mike Iupati (foot) and safety Ugo Amadi (shoulder), as well as defensive ends L.J. Collier (ankle), Ziggy Ansah (shoulder), and Jadeveon Clowney (not injury related).

Added to Thursday's injury list for Seattle was defensive end Quinton Jefferson (hip), who enjoyed a career game in the regular-season opener against Cincinnati and who has been looking forward to this weekend's trip to Pittsburgh. Also worth noting, free safety Tedric Thompson (hamstring), who played 100 percent of the defensive snaps against the Bengals and who has since not been part of any injury updates from head coach Pete Carroll, did not participate in practice for a second straight day.
