As Seattle head coach Pete Carroll has indicated, how Kam Chancellor responds to this week of practice after missing the past four games with a groin injury would be important in determining his availability for Sunday night's game at New England, and with the strong safety participating in full for a second straight day, he looks to be on track to play this weekend against the Patriots.
In addition to Chancellor, starting left tackle Bradley Sowell (knee) and cornerback DeAndre Elliott (hamstring), who have each missed the past two games to injury, also saw a full workload for a second straight day. Tight end Luke Willson (knee), meanwhile, who Carroll said has a chance to play this week after missing the past three games to injury, was upgraded to a full participant at Thursday's practice after going in limited fashion on Wednesday. Thomas Rawls (fibula) won't play this week, Carroll has said, but it's worth noting the running back practiced in limited fashion for a second day in a row. Cassius Marsh (ankle) was upgraded to full after sitting out on Wednesday, when Carroll said, "We think he's going to make it for the game."
Quarterback Russell Wilson (knee), who has also played through ankle and pectoral injuries this year, was again a full participant on Thursday, noting at his weekly press conference that he "feels good finally, it feels good, it feels like week one. I feel better even than last week, so that's a good thing."
For the Patriots, tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle), defensive tackle Alan Branch (back), and wide receiver Julian Edelman (foot) were all limited for a second straight day.
