Except for defensive tackle Shamar Stephen (foot), who was a new addition to Thursday's injury report for the Seahawks, every Seattle player participated in Thursday's practice ahead of the team's Week 8 road game against the Detroit Lions, reinforcing what head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday about this being the healthiest his team has been all season.
Tight end Ed Dickson (quadriceps), tight end Nick Vannett (back), running back Rashaad Penny (finger), linebacker K.J. Wright (knee), and defensive end Dion Jordan (knee) were all full participants on Thursday after working on a limited basis on Wednesday. Defensive tackle Jarran Reed (illness), meanwhile, was also a full participant after sitting out to open the week.
Still limited for the Seahawks on Thursday were guard D.J. Fluker (knee), defensive end Rasheem Green (ankle), and cornerback Neiko Thorpe (groin).
For the Lions, former Seahawks receiver Golden Tate (ankle) was a full participant Thursday after working in limited fashion on Wednesday. Running back Ameer Abdullah (ankle) and cornerback Darius Slay (toe) were also upgraded to full participants Thursday. Running back Theo Riddick (knee) and linebacker Jarrad Davis (calf), meanwhile, were limited Thursday after sitting out Wednesday.Â
Game status designations will become available following Friday's practice when Carroll will meet with the media a final time before the team departs for Detroit.Â
