Thursday Practice Report: Three Seahawks Return To Work

D.J. Fluker, Bradley McDougald, and Dion Jordan all returned to action on Thursday after sitting out practice to start the week.

The Seahawks saw six players miss Wednesday's practice at Virginia Mason Athletic Center and on Thursday that number was down to four, with guard Jordan Simmons (calf), cornerback Neiko Thorpe (groin), linebacker K.J. Wright (knee), and defensive tackle Shamar Stephen (foot) not participating. It was the second day on the sidelines this week for Simmons, Thorpe, and Wright. Stephen, meanwhile, was a limited participant Wednesday before being held out Thursday.

Running back Chris Carson (hip) and left tackle Duane Brown (knee) were new additions to Thursday's injury report for the Seahawks. Both players practiced in limited fashion.

On a more positive note, guard D.J. Fluker, safety Bradley McDougald (knee), and defensive end Dion Jordan (knee) all returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out to start the week. Fluker and McDougald were limited Thursday while Jordan was a full participant.

Defensive end Rasheem Green (ankle) worked in full for a second day in a row, a positive sign for the rookie who's missed four games to injury this season. Receiver Doug Baldwin (knee) and defensive tackle Jarran Reed (hip) were also full participants Thursday after going limited on Wednesday.

More specifics on the Seahawks' injury situation should become available following Friday's practice, when head coach Pete Carroll will meet with the media for a final time ahead of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers at CenturyLink Field.
