With a Week 5 matchup against the NFC West rival Los Angeles Rams set for Thursday night at CenturyLink Field, 'the day before the day before' was here quicker than usual for the Seahawks. For the second straight day this week, Seattle held a walk-thru workout at Renton's Virginia Mason Athletic Center, but as was the case on Monday, the club was still required to submit a practice designation report to the league.
In what's listed as an estimation of participation based on what participation for a full practice would have been, left tackle Duane Brown (biceps) did not participate Tuesday while guard Ethan Pocic (mid back) was limited. Those two offensive linemen were the only two players listed as less than full-go for the Seahawks.
On Monday, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said recovery would be the focus for this week's practice schedule.
"We do look after them and you can't practice much, you can't practice in the same fashion that you normally do because it's the day before the game before you know it," Carroll said. "But it's really important to look after the recovery aspect of this so that they can be at the best so that they can play and get ready, and they have to still learn, they have to still practice, you've got to still go through reps and all that kind of stuff, but you've got to find your way to do that."
The Rams, meanwhile, did not practice Monday and held a walk-thru on Tuesday. Like the Seahawks, Los Angeles' participation is an estimation based on what participation for a full practice would have been.
