Wednesday Practice Report: 10 Players Do Not Participate For Seahawks

A closer look at Wednesday's practice report for the Seahawks and Redskins ahead of their Week 9 game at CenturyLink Field.

The best photos from the Seahawks' Wednesday practice at Virginia Mason Athletic Center in preparation for Sunday's Game against the Washington Redskins.

The Seahawks held 10 players out of practice to start the work week leading up to Sunday's home game against the Washington Redskins.

As head coach Pete Carroll said would be the case earlier Wednesday, center Justin Britt (ankle) and free safety Earl Thomas (hamstring) did not participate in the day's practice. The Seahawks head coach said Britt should be ready to go in time for this weekend's game, while the team should know more on Thomas' status by Friday.

Left guard Luke Joeckel (knee), tight end Jimmy Graham (ankle), strong safety Kam Chancellor (ankle), defensive tackle Jarran Reed (concussion), linebacker Bobby Wagner (hamstring), and defensive end Michael Bennett (heel) were also sidelined with injuries Wednesday. Cornerback Jeremy Lane (not injury related) and defensive end Dwight Freeney (not injury related) also did not participate.

Running back C.J. Prosise (ankle), meanwhile, returned to practice in limited fashion Wednesday after sitting out all of last week. For Prosise, who missed this past weekend's win over the Houston Texans to injury, Carroll said Monday the plan is for him to practice this week "and then we'll just see by the end of the week how he's doing."
