The Seahawks pass rush is on track to get a boost this week when the club welcomes the Los Angeles Rams to CenturyLink Field, with defensive end Dion Jordan (hip) practicing in full on Wednesday, marking the first time since Week 2 that Jordan has fully participated in practice. Jordan, who had 4.0 sacks in five games for the Seahawks last year as a late-season addition to the roster, missed last week's win over the Arizona Cardinals to injury.
Head coach Pete Carroll gave injury updates on Jordan and several other ailing Seahawks earlier Wednesday, when he noted the club should be getting back running back Chris Carson (hip) this week. Carson did not participate in Wednesday's workout, but Carroll said the second-year pro "should go full-go" on Thursday.
Sidelined alongside Carson for the Seahawks on Wednesday were defensive end Rasheem Green (ankle), linebacker K.J. Wright (knee), and defensive end Frank Clark (illness). Carroll ruled Wright out for Sunday's game against the Rams as the Pro Bowler continues to recover from arthroscopic knee surgery.
Guard Ethan Pocic (ankle), who missed last weekend's win against Arizona to injury, and guard D.J. Fluker (knee) were both limited Wednesday. Carroll said Pocic should be back this week, but for now the team will continue to go with J.R. Sweezy as the starter at left guard.
