Wednesday Practice Report: Kam Chancellor Fully Participates; Thomas Rawls, Luke Willson Limited

A closer look at Wednesday's practice report for the Seahawks and Patriots ahead of their Sunday Night Football matchup in Week 10 at New England.

After injuring his groin leading up to the Seahawks' Week 6 game against the Atlanta Falcons and missing the next four games as a result, strong safety Kam Chancellor was back on the practice field for Seattle, fully participating in Wednesday's workout.

Head coach Pete Carroll, who provided several injury updates on Seattle players earlier Wednesday, noted on 710 ESPN Seattle Tuesday morning that Chancellor is "really ready to go" but still must make it through the week of practice without issue before determining his readiness for Sunday night's game against the New England Patriots.

Running back Thomas Rawls (fibula), who's been out since Week 2, and tight end Luke Willson (knee), who has missed the past three games, were both limited participants at Wednesday's practice. Carroll has said Rawls will not play this week against the Patriots, but "there is a chance" that Willson could.

Also of note for the Seahawks is that left tackle Bradley Sowell (knee) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice. Sowell has missed the team's past two games to injury and worked out in limited fashion all last week. Cornerback DeAndre Elliott (hamstring), meanwhile, was also a full participant on Wednesday after missing the past two games to injury. And as Carroll noted earlier Wednesday, Cassius Marsh (ankle) sat out Wednesday's practice, but the head coach said "we think he's going to make it for the game."

The Patriots are coming off of their bye week, so their initial practice report is a little lighter than usual. Tight end Martellus Bennett (ankle), the brother of Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett, was limited Wednesday, as was former Seahawks defensive tackle Alan Branch (back) and wide receiver Julian Edelman (foot).
