Wednesday Practice Report: Six Seahawks Held Out Of Practice; Bradley McDougald & Tre Flowers Full Participants

Updates on the Seahawks’ practice report as they return to practice ahead of their Week 9 game against Tampa Bay.

The Seahawks kicked off their week of practice for their Week 9 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and two starters in their secondary, safety Bradley McDougald and cornerback Tre Flowers, were full participants after being out or limited in recent games due to injury.

Bradley McDougald missed Seattle's Week 7 game due to back spasms, then was active last weekend but only as an emergency backup. Flowers, meanwhile, missed last weekend's game with a stinger. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said prior to Wednesday’s practice that both had a good chance to be ready for this week's game.

Not practicing Wednesday were six players, including three who missed last weekend's game: safety Quandre Diggs (hamstring), defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson (oblique) and safety Lano Hill (elbow). Also sitting out Wednesday were cornerback Neiko Thorpe (tooth), defensive tackle Al Woods (neck) and guard Mike Iupati (knee).

Duane Brown, who returned from a two-game absence and started Sunday's game, was limited with a biceps injury, as were defensive end Ziggy Ansah (ankle) and linebacker K.J. Wright (knee).
