Saturday Injury Report

The Seahawks were able to make it through the week without ruling any players out for Monday Night Football vs. the Eagles but do have five players listed as questionable including quarterback Geno Smith. Smith suffered a groin injury in practice last week and was held out of the loss to the 49ers, but he has been able practice this week in a limited capacity. His status for Monday could be a game time decision for the second consecutive week. "He made it through the week. He made it through with the work that he's done, and he's still questionable. We'll wait and see what happens on game day," said head coach Pete Carroll.

Both Jamal Adams and Devon Witherspoon have been dealing with injuries that forced them to miss practice this week, so they are officially questionable for Monday night. "He's a great player, and I'm trying to maximize his recovery and make sure that he's available to us as much as we can possibly get him," said coach Carroll when asked about the status of Jamal Adams. "We helped him out this week as much as we could." Also listed as questionable are Nick Bellore (knee) and Dee Eskridge (ribs).

The Eagles have officially ruled three players out for Monday including cornerback Darius Slay. Slay has been one of the Eagles' top playmakers on the defensive side of the ball since being acquired by the team in 2020. Guard Cam Jurgens and linebacker Zach Cunningham are also ruled out for Monday night.

Friday Injury Report

The Seahawks held another practice on Friday afternoon in preparation for the Monday Night Football contest with the Eagles and had five players miss practice due to injuries. Defensive backs Jamal Adams and Devon Witherspoon missed practice for the second consecutive day. Adams has regularly missed practice in an effort to give him more rest leading up to gameday as the safety is still dealing with a knee injury. Witherspoon is still considered day-to-day so his status for Monday night is unclear.

Geno Smith was limited in practice for the second day in a row because of a groin injury he suffered in last Thursday's practice. "I'm getting better every single day, been working around the clock just to try and get my body as healthy as possible to go out there and being able to play," said Geno Smith in his press conference prior to Friday's practice. It is still to be determined whether he will start on Monday night, but he is getting closer to coming back each day.

After missing practice on Thursday, Jordyn Brooks returned to the field in a limited capacity on Friday. Despite dealing with an ankle injury, Brooks should be ready to go on Monday against the Eagles.

In good news, Leonard Williams, Tre Brown and Jarran Reed were full participants on Friday after being limited in the first practice of the week.

The Philadelphia Eagles were missing cornerback Darius Slay from practice for the second consecutive day due to a knee injury. Safety Reed Blankenship practiced fully on Friday after being limited on Thursday due to a concussion.

Thursday Injury Report

The Seahawks' upcoming matchup with the Eagles was flexed into the Monday Night Football primetime slot so each team was given an extra day of rest leading up to Week 15. The Seahawks held their first practice of the Week on Thursday afternoon and were missing four players due to injuries and one to personal reasons.

Among the four players who missed the first practice of the week were defensive backs Jamal Adams and rookie Devon Witherspoon. Witherspoon sustained a hip injury in the Week 14 loss to the 49ers and was unable to return to the game because of it.  While his injury is not considered serious, his availability for Monday is in question. "He won't work today," said head coach Pete Carroll.  "We'll rest him a little bit longer, and we won't know, we've got to take it day-to-day with that one." The team hopes that he can progress throughout the week and return in time for Monday night.

Also missing practice were linebackers Jorydn Brooks and Nick Bellore. Brooks suffered an ankle injury that forced him to miss the majority of the Week 13 game in Dallas but was able to return for Week 14.

Quarterback Geno Smith was a game-time decision for Week 14 in San Francisco and was ultimately unable to play against the 49ers due to a groin injury he suffered in practice last week. As for his status for this week, coach Carroll is optimistic that Smith could return for Monday night. "Geno went through the walkthrough today, he's going to practice today," said coach Carroll after walkthrough on Thursday. "He had a good lift this morning, so we'll see how each goes, we'll go one day at a time and figure that out. He feels really good, and he threw the heck out of the ball in the morning session, so we'll see what happens today with the hope that he's ready to go."

After suffering injuries over the past few weeks, the running back group seems to be getting healthier as both Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet were not on the first injury report of the week. "They made it out quite well," coach Carroll said. "They looked great today getting started for the week. Both guys feel really good, so there's no issues with what they were dealing with the week before."

The Eagles had three players miss Thursday's practice including star cornerback Darius Slay. Slay is dealing with a knee injury and was unable to practice today.
