Friday Injury Report

The Seahawks have ruled three players out for Sunday's contest versus the Tennessee Titans including safety Jamal Adams. Adams is still dealing with a knee injury that has forced him to miss two games since Week 4 including last week's win versus the Eagles. Frank Clark Sr. and Dee Eskridge are also ruled out as they have missed practice time this week. Clark has been dealing with an illness while Eskridge will miss his fourth straight game due a rib injury.

Also dealing with an illness this week is center Evan Brown who is listed as questionable heading into Week 16. Running back Kenneth Walker III is also listed as questionable for Week 16 as the second year back has a shoulder injury. Walker III is coming off a strong performance where he had 112 total yards and a touchdown on Monday Night Football against the Eagles. As for his status for Sunday, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll believes he will be available. "Yes. He did well today, he looked fine."

Cornerbacks Tre Brown and Devon Witherspoon are questionable for Sunday as they are dealing with lower body injuries. Witherspoon was unable to play against the Eagles last week and missed practice this week. Brown has been dealing with a heel injury recently but was able to play against Philadelphia.

Quarterback Geno Smith is not listed on the game status report so he will be active this week against Tennessee after missing the last two games. He had been a game time decision each of the past two weeks but after going through pre-game warmups, the medical staff decided he was not ready for game action. Smith has been working relentlessly in his recovery and the team feels that he is able to return this week. "Geno had a terrific week, he looked great. As good of a Friday as I can remember for a quarterback, he was really sharp," said coach Carroll.  "You can tell because he laid off a little bit, he's spunky and strong and in good shape and moving around great. You could tell."

The Titans have been dealing with a plethora of injuries all week and have ruled nine players out for Sunday. All Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons is among the nine players that will be unavailable as he is dealing with a knee injury. Quarterback Will Levis is questionable heading into the weekend. The rookie QB missed the first two practices of the week and was limited in Friday's practice. If he is unable to play on Sunday, Tennessee will turn to veteran Ryan Tannehill at quarterback.

Thursday Injury Report

The Seahawks held a full practice on Thursday afternoon and had seven players missing. The same four players that were non-participants on Wednesday due to injuries were held out once again on Thursday. Defensive backs Jamal Adams and Devon Witherspoon as well as running back Kenneth Walker III and wide receiver Dee Eskridge were unable to participate for the second consecutive day due to injuries.

Reigning NFC Defensive Player of the Week Julian Love missed his second straight day for personal reasons while Bobby Wagner was given the day off for rest as the team is coming off of a short week heading into Week 16.

After being a full participant on Wednesday, Abraham Lucas was limited on Thursday. Lucas has played three games since returning from the injured reserve and is back to playing at full strength. "He's fine. He's in full flow. He's ready," said head coach Pete Carroll when asked how Lucas is holding up after Monday's win over the Eagles.

Quarterback Geno Smith fully participated for the second day in a row which is a great sign that he is getting closer towards returning to game action. "I feel pretty good. Still getting better," said Smith prior to practice on Thursday afternoon.

The Tennessee Titans continue to deal with a number of injuries including one at the quarterback position. Rookie Will Levis suffered an ankle injury in their game last Sunday and missed the first two practices of the week because of it. If he is unable to suit up for Week 16, the team will return to veteran QB Ryan Tannehill who entered the season as the starter. Tannehill is in his fifth season with the organization and his 11th season overall.

Wednesday Injury Report

The Seahawks held a walkthrough on Wednesday afternoon and released an injury report that estimated player participation had there been a full practice. Six players were listed as non-participants including four key defensive backs. Safeties Jamal Adams, Quandre Diggs, and Julian Love along with cornerback Devon Witherspoon did not participate on Wednesday. Love was held out for personal reasons as he and his wife are expecting a baby this week while Diggs was held for rest.

Both Witherspoon and Adams missed the Week 15 Monday Night Football win over the Eagles due to injuries and were unable to participate on Wednesday. "We're going to take it one day at a time, we don't know yet," Carroll said. "He's much better, he's moving around better just getting around the building, but don't know what's going to happen during the week with him, so we'll just have to take it one day at a time," said head coach Pete Carroll when asked about the rookie cornerback.

As for Adams, he is still dealing with a knee injury but is working relentlessly to get back on the field. "He's still in recovery mode," coach Carroll said. "He's been in recovery mode for months. But he just continues to do everything he can possibly do to try to get right and get back, and we've just seen that the rigors of the season, it has just been taxing and all. Every day is a day that we have to reevaluate and see if we can get him to the next day and all. He couldn't do more than he's done, he's been ferocious about the attack on this, and then there are times when we need to quiet him and try to get him active and try to get him right and all that. So we're still in that mode right now."

Running back Kenneth Walker III is coming off of a big game against Philadelphia but is dealing with a shoulder issue that prevented him from getting work in on Wednesday. Wide receiver Dee Eskridge is still suffering from the ribs injury that has forced him to miss the last three game and was held out on Wednesday.

In good news, Geno Smith was a full participant on Wednesday as he is trying to make it back in time for Sunday. Smith has missed the past two games with a groin injury but is close to returning. "Geno will come back to practice, he's going to practice today and go full go, and we'll see how that works," said coach Carroll. "That's exciting for us."

The Tennessee Titans are dealing with a litany of injuries as they have 17 players on the injury report. Rookie quarterback Will Levis did not participate in Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury he suffered last week against the Houston Texans. The rookie QB took over for Ryan Tannehill in Week 8 and has started every game since. Tannehill will take over for Levis if the rookie is unable to play on Sunday.
