Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks have just two players listed with game status designations ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears. Linebacker Jon Rhattigan, who injured his knee in Tuesday's game against the Rams, has been ruled out, while cornerback Bless Austin is questionable with a hip injury. Austin started last week in place of D.J. Reed, who is on the COVID-19 list, so if Reed isn't able to return by Sunday, potentially losing Austin could leave the Seahawks very thin at cornerback.

Most noteworthy for Chicago is that quarterback Justin Field is listed as questionable after not practicing each of the past two days, and Bears coach Matt Nagy told reporters that Nick Foles will get the start on Sunday with Fields as an option to serve as backup.

Thursday's Injury Report

The Seahawks kicked off a short week of preparation on Thursday, and guard Gabe Jackson, linebacker Jon Rhattigan and defensive tackle Al Woods sat out with injuries, while cornerback Bless Austin was listed as not practicing due to personal reasons. Russell Wilson, who injured his ankle when a Rams player fell on it on Tuesday, was a full participant, while four players were limited.

Most notable on the Bears injury report is that quarterback Justin Fields went from limited Wednesday to not participating Thursday due to an ankle injury.

Wednesday's Injury Report

Thanks to a postponed Week 15 game against the Rams, the Seahawks have a short week to get ready for Sunday's game against the Bears, which meant no practice on Wednesday and a condensed couple of days of work Thursday and Friday.

But while the Seahawks didn't actually practice Wednesday, they are required to put out a practice report, so below is an estimation of participation had they practiced. The Bears, who played Monday night, had a walkthrough and not a full practice, so their report is also an estimation.

For the Seahawks, four players were listed as non-participants due to injury, including rookie linebacker Jon Rhattigan, who left the game with what Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said is an ACL injury, the severity of yet is not yet known. Carroll said there were no other injuries of note to come out of the game, though one name new to the injury report is Russell Wilson, who was listed as a full participant with an ankle injury.

"One of the times he got knocked down, the guy fell on his ankle," Carroll said. "So he's sore today. It's a short week, it could be a factor, but it's not going to keep Russ from playing. I don't think that's the case at all, he should be all right."
