Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks have only one player ruled out due to injury, linebacker Jon Rhattigan, who injured his knee in Seattle's Week 15 game against the Rams and missed last weekend's game with what Pete Carroll said is an ACL injury. Right tackle Brandon Shell, who missed last week's game with a shoulder injury after coming off the COVID-19 list, is doubtful, meaning rookie Jake Curhan is likely to get another start at that spot. Alex Collins, who has been dealing with an abdomen injury for much of the season and who did not play last week after returning from the COVID list, is questionable.

On a positive note, defensive tackle Poona Ford, who showed up on the report Wednesday with a concussion, does not have a game status designation, meaning he is good to go.

For the Lions, quarterback Jared Goff is doubtful with a knee injury after not practicing all week, meaning Tim Boyle will likely get the start for the second week in a row.

Additionally, Quandre Diggs and Rashaad Penny were taken off the injury report all together, indicating their injuries are no longer an issue.

Wednesday's Injury Report

The Seahawks began their practice week Wednesday with eight players not participating, including six due to injury. While most on the list were existing injuries, some of which players have been playing through, such as DK Metcalf, Gabe Jackson and Al Woods, one notable new injury is starting defensive tackle Poona Ford, who is listed with a concussion. Ford did not leave Sunday's game against Chicago with any apparent injury, but sometimes concussion symptoms can be delayed and show up in the days following a game. Right tackle Brandon Shell, who just returned from the COVID-19 list, did not practice due to the shoulder injury that kept him out of Seattle's Week 14 game before he went on the COVID list, and Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said he doesn't know if Shell will make it back this week or not.

Running back Alex Collins, who returned from the COVID-19 list last week but did not play against the Bears, was limited with an abdomen injury that has been affecting him for much of the season.

For the Lions, starting quarterback Jared Goff, who just returned from the COVID-19 list, did not practice due to a knee injury.
