Details on the daily practice reports for the Seahawks and Dolphins ahead of their Week 4 game in Miami, including Friday's injury report.

The Seahawks are coming off of a second straight win that saw several key players leave with injuries, though this time they were fortunate to avoid serious injuries. Even so, the status of several players who left Sunday's win over the Cowboys will be up in their air until late in the week or gameday, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday.

Wednesday's Injury Report

The Seahawks started their week with a lengthy injury report, with six players sitting out and 12 more limited, but there are some encouraging signs on that list nonetheless. Most notably, two players who left last week's game were already back on the practice field, albeit on a limited basis: running back Chris Carson and right guard Damien Lewis.

Safety Jamal Adams was among those not practicing due to a groin injury, and Carroll said earlier in the day he was still pretty sore, but he isn’t ruling Adams out for this week’s game at this point.

Thursday's Injury Report

While the injury report remains long, there was some evidence the Seahawks are progressing from a health standpoint as Sunday's game approaches. For starters, no new names appeared on today's report. After not participating on Wednesday, tackle Duane Brown (knee), defensive end Benson Mayowa (groin) and defensive tackle Poona Ford (groin) were all limited participants on Thursday. Wide receivers DK Metcalf (resting vet) and Tyler Lockett (resting vet), tight ends Will Dissly (Achilles) and Greg Olsen (resting vet), and center Ethan Pocic (ankle/knee) were limited yesterday but full participants today. Finally, several players on yesterday's report were no longer listed at all on Thursday: defensive tackle Jarran Reed (back), tackle Cedric Ogbuehi (pectoral), defensive end L.J. Collier (wrist), cornerback Tre Flowers (hand) and wide receiver David Moore (ankle).

On the flip side, cornerback Neiko Thorpe (hip) and safety Lano Hill (back), both limited participants on Wednesday, did not participate at all in Thursday's practice. Linebacker Cody Barton (quadriceps), a full participant but listed on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday.

Like the Seahawks, the Dolphins did not add any new names to the injury report today. Cornerback Byron Jones (groin/Achilles) was limited on Thursday after not practicing on Wednesday. Safety Clayton Fejedelem (pectorial) and cornerback Xavien Howard (knee) were both full participants after being limited yesterday.

Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks will be without two starters in their secondary, with safety Jamal Adams and cornerback Quinton Dunbar both ruled out for Sunday's game. Also out is rookie Jordyn Brooks, who took over a starting role last week, but injured his knee in the game.

The Seahawks have six players listed as questionable: running backs Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde, cornerbacks Shaquill Griffin and Neiko Thorpe, guard Damien Lewis and safety Lano Hill.

The Dolphins have a much shorter injury list, but they will likely be without starting cornerback Byron Jones, who is doubtful with groin and Achilles injuries.
