Friday's Injury Report
The Seahawks will be without two key pieces of their offense when the play the Steelers on Sunday night, with quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Chris Carson both ruled out. That was expected for Wilson, who had surgery last week to repair to injuries in his right middle finger, but there had been hope earlier in the week of getting Carson back after he missed last week's game with a neck injury. The Seahawks will also be without tackle Cedric Ogbuehi, who is listed with biceps and chest injuries.
No other players are listed with a gameday status, which means everyone else on the roster should be available, including receiver DK Metcalf, who was held out of Thursday's practice with a foot injury.
Wilson being ruled out makes it official that he will miss the first game of his 10-year career, ending a streak of 165 consecutive games started, postseason included.
The Steelers will be without starting receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who had shoulder surgery earlier in the week and is expected to be placed on injured reserve, as well as defensive tackle Carlos Davis.

Thursday's Injury Report
Russell Wilson is less than a week removed from surgery and Geno Smith is expected to start Sunday's game in Pittsburgh, but because Wilson has not, at this point at least, been put on injured reserve, he is able to be on the practice field and do things that don't compromise his injured middle finger. So on Thursday Wilson was listed as a limited participant in practice despite a finger injury that currently prevents him from throwing a ball--with his right hand at least.
"You know Russell, he's got his injury he's got to deal with, but that's not going to keep him from preparing as if he's playing in the game as well," offensive coordinator Shane Waldron said after Thursday's practice. "He's ready to go out there and start--he's taking every mental rep there is, as much as he can do physically, he's been doing that."
Waldron then joked, "He could be the first ambidextrous guy to run the keeper game. I wouldn't be surprised if he could throw a pretty good spiral at the end of this thing with his left hand."
As for the rest of Thursday's injury report, running back Chris Carson sat out again due to the neck injury that kept him out of last week's game, while receiver DK Metcalf was held out with a foot injury a day after being limited. In addition to Wilson, five players were limited, including linebacker Bobby Wagner, who was held out on Wednesday with a knee injury, and guard Damien Lewis, who didn't practice Wednesday due to illness.

Wednesday's Injury Report
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson suited up for Wednesday's practice and went through some warmups just five days after having surgery on his right middle finger, but as expected he did not practice, with this week marking the first time in his 10-year career that he has missed regular-season practice.
Also out due to injury Wednesday were running back Chris Carson, who missed last week's game with a neck injury, and linebacker Bobby Wagner, who bruised his knee in last week's game according to Seahawks coach Pete Carroll. Carroll said prior to Wednesday's practice that Carson went through that morning's walkthrough and is expected to practice Thursday. Left guard Damien Lewis did not practice due to illness, while center Kyle Fuller was limited due to illness. Also limited were receiver Penny Hart (knee), defensive end Darrell Taylor (ankle) and receiver DK Metcalf (foot).
The Steelers had two players held out due to injury, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral/hip) and receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who underwent shoulder surgery this week and is expected to land on injured reserve, while four players were limited.
