Week 6 Injury Report: Seahawks vs. Cardinals

Details on the Seahawks’ injury situation heading into their Week 6 game against the Cardinals, including game status designations.

IR OCT 14

Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks have two starters listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, defensive tackle Al Woods (knee) and guard Gabe Jackson (hip/knee), both of whom left last week's game with injuries.

Receiver Penny Hart, who left the game with a hamstring injury, is the only player ruled out for Sunday's game.

On a positive note, two key players who were added to the injury report Thursday—receiver Tyler Lockett and outside linebacker Darrell Taylor—do not have game status designations, meaning they should be good to go.

The Seahawks also have five players listed as questionable: DE Shelby Harris (hip), CB Artie Burns (groin), WR Dee Eskridge (illness), S Joey Blount (calf), WR Marquise Goodwin (knee/back).

The Cardinals will be without two of their top running backs, James Conner and Darrel Williams, as well as their usual kicker, Matt Prater. Among those listed as questionable for Arizona are center Rodney Hudson, nose tackle Rashard Lawrence, and cornerback Byron Murphy Jr., who was new to the injury report on Friday.

Thursday's Injury Report

The Seahawks had a few names added to the injury report on Thursday, including starting receiver Tyler Lockett, who was limited with a hamstring injury.

Also new to this week's list are cornerback Artie Burns (groin) and outside linebacker Darrell Taylor (neck), both of whom were non-participants, and safety Joey Blount, who was limited with a calf injury. Missing practice for the second straight day were receiver Penny Hart (hamstring), guard Gabe Jackson (knee/hip), defensive end Shelby Harris (hip), nose tackle Al Woods (knee) and running back Rashaad Penny, who will presumably be added to injured reserve at some point with a season-ending ankle injury.

Other than a rest day for veteran defensive lineman J.J. Watt, the Cardinals injury report was unchanged from a day earlier, with running backs James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee), starting center Rodney Hudson (knee) and kicker Matt Prater (hip) among the players not practicing.

Wednesday's Injury Report

The Seahawks opened their week of practice with seven players not practicing, though running back Rashaad Penny will likely end up off the injury report and on injured reserve soon due to the season-ending ankle injury he suffered on Sunday.

In addition to Penny, three of the players listed also left last week's game with injuries: defensive lineman Al Woods (knee), guard Gabe Jackson (hip) and receiver Penny Hart (hamstring). Seahawks coach Pete Carroll gave updates on those players and others earlier in the day, saying they were optimistic Woods could play this week, and that they were uncertain on Jackson's status, while Hart seems unlikely to play this week. Also not practicing were receiver Dee Eskridge (illness), defensive end Shelby Harris (hip) and receiver Dareke Young, who missed Sunday's game with a quadricep injury.

As expected, receiver Marquise Goodwin was back in action as a full participant after being held out of Sunday's game with a knee injury. Kenneth Walker III (shoulder) and cornerback Justin Coleman (calf) were both full participants as well.

Like the Seahawks, the Cardinals are dealing with injuries at running back, with starter James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) both missing practice. Starting center Rodney Hudson (knee) and kicker Matt Prater (hip) were also among the players not practicing for the Cardinals.
