The Seahawks are back from their bye week and will play their first NFC West game of the season when they travel to the desert to face the Arizona Cardinals. As a result of the week off, the Seahawks should head into the game relatively healthy, with only one player, safety Jamal Adams, ruled out, and one more, guard Mike Iupati, listed as questionable.

UPDATE: Iupati was downgraded from questionable to out on Saturday morning.

Saturday Update

Guard Mike Iupati, who was listed as questionable on Friday, was downgraded to out. Guard Jordan Simmons is likely to start in his place, having started at left guard in Week 5 when Iupati was inactive due to a back injury.

Friday's Injury Report

The Seahawks will head to Arizona with almost all of the roster available. They will not, however, have All-Pro safety Jamal Adams, who has been ruled out, meaning he'll miss a third straight game due to a groin injury. Mike Iupati, who missed Seattle's last game with a back injury, is listed as questionable. Those are the only two players on the final injury report, however, meaning every other player should be good to go.

The Cardinals list six players as questionable, most notably receiver DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) who is the league's leading receiver.

The Seahawks continue to take things slow with Jamal Adams as he recovers from a groin injury, with the All-Pro safety being held out of practice for the second day in a row. After being held out on Wednesday, guard Damien Lewis (ankle) and tackle Brandon Shell (illness) were both full participants on Thursday. Meanwhile, tackle Duane Brown (knee/resting vet) and guard Mike Iupati (back) went from being limited participants on Wednesday to not practicing at all on Thursday, though both veteran linemen have had their workloads managed throughout the season, so a Thursday off isn't necessarily cause for alarm. Nick Bellore also did not practice for non-injury related reasons. Tackle Jamarco Jones was another new addition to the report--he was limited today as he dealt with cramps.

Unlike the previous two weeks when the Seahawks had more than 20 players on the injury report, the Seahawks listed 14 players Wednesday, only four of whom did not practice. As expected, Adams was held out, as was starting cornerback Quinton Dunbar, who has been dealing with a knee injury that kept him out of two games before he returned to play in Seattle's Week 5 win over Minnesota. Right guard Damien Lewis didn't practice with an ankle injury, which could be related to an injury he sustained earlier this season, one that did not cause him to miss any games. Tackle Brandon Shell was also out with an illness.

The Cardinals will be playing on short rest after a 38-10 win over the Cowboys on Monday Night Football and while their report on Wednesday was relatively short, it did include some starters of note. Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins did not practice as he tends to an ankle injury, something that has kept him on the weekly practice report as far back as Week 4. Clearly it hasn't slowed him down, as Hopkins enters Week 7 as the league leader in receptions (47) and receiving yards (601). Tackle Kelvin Beachum (ankle) and defensive end Jordan Phillips (foot) also did not practice on Wednesday.
