GLENDALE—The Seahawks will be without running back Rashaad Penny for a second straight game due to a hamstring injury.
Penny was able to return to practice during the week and was listed as questionable, but will be held out another week to recover from the injury, which occurred in practice late in the week prior to Seattle's Week 3 game against New Orleans.
The news is more positive on two key defensive players listed as questionable, as defensive linemen Ziggy Ansah (back) and Quinton Jefferson (hip) are both active. In addition to Penny, two other players are out due to injury, center/guard Ethan Pocic, who was doubtful with a mid-back injury, and cornerback Neiko Thorpe, who was questionable with a hamstring.
Safety Tedric Thompson, who missed the past two games with a hamstring injury, is active, though it remains to be seen whether he will return to the starting lineup or if the Seahawks will stick with Lano Hill, who has started the past two games. Also active are rookie defensive end L.J. Collier, who was inactive last week, and tight end Luke Willson, who just re-signed with Seattle on Wednesday.
