Monday Injury Report

The Seahawks held a walkthrough on Monday afternoon and released an estimated participation report had they fully practiced. Four defensive players missed practice due to injuries including cornerback Riq Woolen. Woolen suffered an ankle injury in the Week 5 loss to the Giants that forced him to exit the game. He would return after initially exiting the game but was unable to finish it due to the injury. It's still unclear what his availability for Thursday night will be but the team expects to know more as the week goes on. Similarly, Derick Hall missed practice because of a foot injury but his status for the upcoming matchup with the 49ers is unknown at the moment.

Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu did not participate on Monday after suffering a thigh injury in Sunday's loss to the Giants. Nwosu missed the first four games of the season due to a knee injury and made his season debut in Week 5. The debut was short lived however as Nwosu exited the game early in the second quarter with a thigh injury. In Monday's press conference, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said that Nwosu will not play on Thursday. "We won't get him back Thursday, and then we'll see here in the next few days if it is going to be longer than that," said Macdonald.

Rookie defensive tackle Byron Murphy II is in danger of missing another game due to a hamstring injury that forced him to exit the Week 3 win over the Dolphins. He has not been able to practice since sustaining the injury and may need another week to get ready given the short turnaround this week. "Byron, we're still not sure on the timetable. It looks like it might take one more week," said Macdonald.

Boye Mafe missed his second consecutive game on Sunday but was one of four players limited on Monday. He has been dealing with a knee injury but is doing everything in his power to return against the 49ers after missing the past two weeks. "Boye wants to play, he's working his tail off," Macdonald said. "It's a matter of if we can pull the trigger or not at this point if it's safe for him to go and he feels right. We'll see, it's going to come down to the wire right now with Boye."

The 49ers did not practice on Monday but released an estimated report had they held a practice. Six players were listed as 'did not participate' due to injuries. Two starters in the secondary, safety Talanoa Hufanga and Charvarius Ward were among the non-participants as they are dealing with a wrist and knee injury respectively. Tight end George Kittle and linebacker Fred Warner were two of the three players that were limited participants.
